Off-track is back at California Superbike School.

Off-track drills, featuring the lean, slide and brake rig bikes, return to the California Superbike School as part of its long-term partnership with Silverstone.  Following the multi-million pound redevelopment of the Northamptonshire circuit, suitable space has become available for students to perform off-road drills on these specially-adapted machines, in addition to their on-track coaching sessions.

Level 2 students will ride the Lean Bike. Keith Code's patented invention is the perfect tool to handle some very fundamental problems many riders have with leaning their motorcycles, giving an extra measure of safety while working on body positioning.

On Level 3 students get to grips with the Brake Rig Bike. Locking up the front wheel is one of the most terrifying parts of riding. Keith's Panic Brake Trainer allows riders to experience a fully locked front wheel and then be trained how to save it.

Learning how to control a rear-wheel slide is something usually reserved for champion racers, but with Slide Bike training most riders on Level 4 learn to control a rear-wheel slide in under 10 minutes.

Off track drills will be run at all Schools for the remainder of 2011 (subject to machine availability, weather conditions and staff discretion).  For more information, and to watch the video of 'a day at California Superbike School', go to www.superbikeschool.co.uk or call 08700 671061.
