SW Motech Triumph Tiger Explorer Add-Ons

Currently the UK’s best-selling adventure bike, Triumph’s Tiger Explorer is proving its potential as a capable long-distance machine. Now German engineering specialists SW Motech have introduced a complete range of accessories to help owners tailor their Tigers.

SW Motech’s Trax Evo aluminum side and top cases are manufactured from lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminium, providing up to 128-litres of robust and waterproof luggage storage.  Both can be attached with the new EVO Carriers; their patented Quick-Lock system means the cases and carriers can be removed in seconds.

For those requiring extra capacity, SW Motech’s Quick Lock Tankbags are also available to fit the big Tiger. Quick and easy to fit and remove, thanks to the unique tank ring system that attaches to the fuel filler cap mountings, they offer extra storage and quick and easy access to travel documents, maps and other essentials. A 12V option enables charging of Sat Nav systems and mobile phones too.

Adding the SW Motech Footrest Kit will allow owners to adjust the pegs from original position to 15 mm lower (and back again).  They have a large contact area and rubber inserts that help absorb vibration and shocks – these can be removed if more grip is required. Made from corrosion resistant cast stainless steel, the footrest link  is CNC-milled alloy.

Providing protection for both rider and machine is also catered for.   Handguards – designed to help keep wind/weather/branches away from the fingers and controls.  They fit to the original bars and are supplied with aluminum mounting brackets.  There’s also an engine crash bar kit.
