Cool new Knox Venture Shirt
Impact protection specialists Knox have re-designed their popular and versatile Venture Shirt for 2014, with increased ventilation and comfort for riding in hot conditions.
Designed and manufactured in Britain, the Venture Shirt combines the latest armour technology with soft, stretchy Meryl Lycra; ideal for both on- and off-road motorcycling as well as other extreme activities, like mountain biking, skiing and snow-boarding, where both comfort and protection from injury are needed.
UK-made Meryl Lycra is both breathable and moisture-wicking and is combined in the Venture shirt with stretchy open mesh panels, working together to regulate body temperature and prevent the build-up of perspiration.
Lightweight and flexible, the CE-approved Knox Lite protectors are fitted at shoulders and elbows. These feature an Intelligent Cell Structure which ‘flexes’ on impact, spreading the load and absorbing high levels of energy. With their low profile and slim edges they allow the wearer to move freely and help the Venture shirt to fit neatly under jerseys and jackets without adding excess bulk. There's also a full length back protector tested and approved to EN1621-2.
