Quay Garage Racing look to fans for funds

Q8Oils supported Quay Garage Racing has come up with a novel way for fans to help fund their 2009 campaign for the British Super Bike Cup championship. Funded by Fans is a unique competition, being run in conjunction with one of their core sponsors, Tiverton based Devon Cider Company, designed to raise funds for the team and give fans a chance to win fabulous prizes. Quay Garage chief Ian Woollacott explains the concept;
“The current economic down turn has made the task of securing funding for the 2009 season very difficult indeed. At times it looked likely that we would be sitting this season out on the sidelines. In the face of adversity however the team got their heads down and came up with a novel way of funding the 2009 season. We have collaborated with Old Moors Devon Cider and FundedbyFans.co.uk to not only offer the chance to win some excellent prizes, but also the opportunity for the loyal BSB race fans to play a part in the success of the team”.
Fans can enter a text competition for the chance to win high value prizes, including a brand new Honda CBR600RR sports bike, a year’s supply of Old Moors Cider, VIP hospitality tickets + helicopter transfer to the Silverstone round of the championship as well as additional VIP tickets and the chance to meet the team at the same round. At race meetings there are chances to win Old Moors T-Shirts and bottles of cider instantly with every entry, as well as being entered into the prize draw. All revenue raised throughout this campaign will go directly to the team in order to fund the 2009 season.
