Action stations at the Dirt Bike Show
The organisers of the Dirt Bike Show are pulling out all the stops to ensure their 10th anniversary at Stoneleigh Park is an action-packed event to remember, with extra acts booked for the Live Action Arena and a new live Area feature in Hall 1.
Joining the Xtreme Trials ‘Kickstart’ tribute in the 1000-seat Live Arena will be the Bolddog Lings Minibike Team. Providing a unique, non-stop show, using Britain’s best motocross and extreme sports participants, the Bolddog Lings Minibike Team is simply a scaled down version of its bigger brother The Bolddog Lings Freestyle Team, performing the same tricks including back flips.
Over in Hall 1, British cycle trials champion Danny Butler will be proving that you don’t need an engine to perform breathtaking tricks on a bike. Danny and his fellow riders take their skills of cycle trials riding to the limits in four daily shows.
Another new attraction is the Vertical Trix wheelie machine. Open to the public, it is the closest possible simulation of pulling a wheelie on the road, but without the danger or risk involved.
Also coming to the Dirt Bike Show for the first time, the Fox Brigade will be present, offering visitors a chance to swing by the Brigade Tent and get some free "swag".
The 10th anniversary Dirt Bike Show – from November 5-8 at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire – will see all the new 2010 dirt bikes and kit together for the first time under one roof. More details are on www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk where advanced tickets are on sale now.
