Double Top for Morini in Roadster Cup
For the second year running a Moto Morini V-twin has won the Italian Roadster Cup.
Riding a 1200cc Moto Morini Corsaro for the GT Racing Team, Frank Zenatello wrapped up his title campaign at the Santamonica circuit in Misano Adriatico, fighting off a challenge from the Benelli of Lorenzo Segoni, who was forced to retire two laps before the end of the race. Cristiano Ascanio rode his Moto Morini to third place of the podium, sandwiching Stefano Cordara on his KTM in second.
Having achieved three three podiums out of the five total races, the Corsaro of Zenatello is the most successful naked bike over 100 HP in the series.
