Ventura bag-up New BMW


With over 190bhp on tap BMW’s S1000RR is a formidable sports bike, but with optional ABS, traction control and switchable power modes it has touring potential too. Now ,thanks to luggage manufacturer Ventura, that potential can be unleashed. Ventura Bike-Pack systems are light, stable and incredibly versatile - ideal for adding carrying capacity to sports bikes like the S1000RR. Combining the best features of hard and soft luggage, the Ventura Bike Pack system consists of three elements: L-Brackets, Rack and Pack. The L-Brackets are tailor made for each machine and once fitted, offer a solid mounting platform for the Rack and Pack. Once the L-Brackets are in place, mounting the Pack System couldn’t be easier; simply slot the Rack into the L-Brackets, then slide the chosen Pack onto the Rack. As the Pack is supported by the tailor-made Rack, it’s much more stable than normal soft bags and tail packs. Ventura’s unique mounting system ensures the load won’t shift, even during hard riding, and also eliminates the need for fiddly, unreliable and potentially damaging straps/bungee chords. Plus the load is carried directly behind the rider for stability, carrying the load clear of exhausts and the rear wheel, and doesn’t add to the bike’s width either, allowing easier filtering/parking. The Pack can also be quickly re-positioned behind the pillion seat when a passenger is on-board and when no luggage is required, both Pack and Rack can be removed in seconds, leaving only the discrete L-Brackets behind. The rider then has the option of fitting a pillion Grab Handle or a Sport Rack; designed especially for transporting small loads.
