Take a turn for the better in Nat Motorcycle Week with CaliforniaSuperbikeSchool
California Superbike School is urging British motorcyclists to do something positive to improve their cornering during National Motorcycle Week, which runs from 18th - 24th July.
"Everybody does the straights pretty well" explains School Director Andy Ibbott. "It's when we arrive at corners that motorcyclists tend to have problems."
According to BikeSafe, an initiative run by Police Forces around the United Kingdom, 25% of motorcycle accidents occur on bends, so it is clear that significant numbers of riders are struggling to get around corners.
Founded 30 years ago, the California Superbike Schools are dedicated to discovering, improving and refining the art of cornering. Places are still available on courses at Brands Hatch (21st/22nd July), Silverstone South (18th/19th August) and Silverstone's upgraded Stowe circuit (10th-12th September).
California Superbike Schools offer up to four levels of tuition, each taking a day to complete, and all students begin at level one, progressing from there as they wish. Prices start at £379 per level and there is an option to hire a fully prepared Yamaha R6 and Alpinestars race suit if required, although it is not necessary to ride a sports bike to attend.
