Colour-matched and blue for Vespa
Vespa now offers a range of stylish helmets that are not only colour matched to its latest GTS 125 and 250cc scooters, but also ready to accept the new IDIPHONE Bluetooth wireless communication system.
Updated for 2010, the Copter is now available in an eye-catching bronze and white paint finish with a textured brown eco-leather trim. Approved to the latest safety standards, the Copter (so-called because it is designed to give the look and feel of helmets worn by helicopter crews) is produced in five sizes (XS-XL) and its compact demi-jet design means it will fit inside the under-seat storage compartments on most Vespa/Piaggio scooters.
Lined with hypoallergenic Dupont® Terinda, riders wishing to get connected simply need to replace the helmet's cheek pad with the specially designed IDIPHONE headset, which contains all of the necessary hardware required for the system to operate, then slot in the special communication module. The IDIPHONE is unlike any other helmet-mounted communication system; it comprises just two parts and uses no external wires or fiddly connectors.
The Copter helmet retails at £119.99, available from authorised Piaggio/Vespa stockists. Owners may customize their helmet with an optional smoked or yellow visor for an extra £51.08 and the IDIPHONE Bluetooth® Wireless Communication System is available at a retail price of £149.99 (including VAT).For further information on Vespa Original Accessories call 0117 972 5552 or visit http://www.uk.vespa.com/en_UK/
