New MOMODESIGN Fighter hits the mark

Redesigned ready for 2011, the MOMODESIGN Fighter keeps its distinctive aeronautical styling but has a host of improved features, including a drop-down sun visor.

Sandwiched between the inner and out shells of the helmet, the drop-down sun visor has a positive ratchet action and helps the rider to avoid glare without having to interrupt their journey to put on and remove sunglasses - ideal for city riding where bright sunlight can shine intermittently between tall buildings also useful when riding into low winter sun.

Inside, a new perspiration-absorbing lining and removable cheek pads help improve internal airflow and regulate the wearer's temperature. The lining is also treated with silver ion, to help reduce the build up of bacteria and reduce odour. In addition, the Fighter's lining is now fully removable and washable.

The updated Fighter retains its trademark spherical visor, which is thermally formed to optical quality for clear vision, and features an anti-scratch treatment and UV absorption. It can be quickly removed - either for cleaning or to convert the Fighter into a jet style helmet - with easy to use hand-operated restraints on either side.

Coated in weather-resistant paint for a lasting finish, the Fighter's lightweight (1100g) ABS outer shell comes in a choice of gloss or matt black, matt white or gloss quartz white and gloss titanium colourways; all with contrasting MOMODESIGN logo.
