SW Motech Footrest Kits
SW Motech has introduced a range of adjustable Footrest Kits, perfect for touring, commuter and adventure riders looking for extra comfort and control.
A tailored riding position can make a significant difference on long journeys, with even modest adjustment offering much needed relief to cramped limbs, yet only a handful of motorcycles offer adjustable riding positions, (e.g. Triumph Tiger 800), and most of those provide movement in the seat and bars but not footrests.
SW Motech’s new Footrest Kits are available for a wide range of dual sport and naked road bikes, such as the BMW R1200GS, Suzuki Bandit 650 and 1250, Honda’s CB1300, the Kawasaki Versys and Triumph Tiger 1050. Adjustable with two positions, standard and 15mm lower, they offer a more relaxed and comfortable leg positioning.
A large dimension contact area, with profiled rubber insert, helps absorb vibration and road shocks, and is profiled to ensure a firm grip. The rubber insert is removeable, should the riders prefer off-road style levels of grip for their boots.
Each Kit is manufactured from corrosion resistant cast stainless steel for durability and strength, and features lightweight, but tough aluminium alloy footrest links, which are CNC-milled for accurate fit and operation. Tailor made to fit the original foot peg mounts, kits come with all required fixings and full instructions. Prices start from £80.56 (Including VAT at 20%) and are available from SW Motech dealers.
