New CE-approved Freeride Knee Guards from Knox
New Freeride knee protectors from British impact protection specialists Knox combine motocross levels of protection with the freedom of movement required for day-long mountain biking.
Developed with real world testing by Knox Athletes like Cumbrian-born, Northern downhill champion Liam Little, the design team at Knox took the tough European safety standard for motorcycle armour (EN1621-1) as the starting point. By choosing advanced energy-absorbent polyurethane foam, which is both light and highly flexible, they shaped the protector to wrap around the knee, providing excellent coverage for this delicate and complex body part.
Fitted into a stretch tube made from hard-wearing, High Tenacity nylon/cotton fabric, Freeride Guards even feature a moisture management finish to help keep the wearer comfortable.
Quick and easy to put on and take off, a soft elastic strap wraps around the front to hug the protector into the knee, keeping it firmly in position, while gripper elastic is included at the top of the stretch tube to prevent slipping.
Size, fit and comfort are always key areas for Knox and to help customers Knox have produced a fitting video which can be viewed on-line. To view this go to the product page and to see Knox athletes putting the product through its paces visit www.planet-knox.com.
Tested to the limit in the lab and on the trails, Knox Freeride Knee Guards are available at a retail price of £34.99 including VAT. You can also speak to Knox on 01900 825825.
