Updated Knox Kompakt back protector for 2011.

British impact protection specialists, Knox, have updated their innovative Kompakt back protector for 2011 to offer even more protection, comfort and flexibility.

Already the lightest back protector on the market - it weighs just 500g – the Kompakt is designed to be as comfortable and unobtrusive as possible on the bike, and thanks to the unique roll-up and store design it’s easy to carry at the journey's end.

Unique honeycomb plates easily exceed the standard required for EN1621-2 (Level 1) and have been re-shaped for a slimmer profile, with a soft outer covering to allow for a comfortable fit under close-fitting jackets.   Like all Knox back protectors, additional coccyx (tail bone) protection is incorporated to shield this vulnerable region.

Comfort is assured, with breathable ‘spacer’ fabric helping to increase airflow between the protector and the body. The shoulder straps have a cross over option with quick release fasteners, for easy entry and exit.

As with all back protectors in the Knox range, an optional CE approved Chest Protector (£29.99) can be fitted to the Kompakt for extra torso protection. For complete peace of mind, should the Kompakt be damaged in a Police-attended road accident in the first year of ownership, Knox will offer a replacement free of charge.
