Peugeot Speedfight 3 Ice Blade and Dark Side.
Peugeot has unveiled two cool new colour schemes for the Speedfight 3; ‘Ice Blade’ for those who love to stand out from the crowd, and ‘Dark Side’ for riders who prefer a more stealthy style. Subtle but stylish, each version features ‘tribal’ graphics, black alloy rims and contrasting hot red highlights; perfect for cool urban commuters.
Function hasn’t given way to form with the new models; the Speedfight’s liquid-cooled, two-stroke engine provides plenty of go to get around town, and can save a packet in fuel thanks to excellent economy. Its class leading 8.5 litre petrol tank (hidden beneath the floor pan) also means much greater range, with around 150 miles between fill-ups possible.
The Speedfight’s responsive chassis, hydraulic front forks and 13” wheels, give reassuring handling and a smooth ride, ideal for nipping around busy city streets. While the dual piston radial caliper and 'wavey' shuricane front disc offer plenty of stopping power. Under the seat is a substantial storage bay and a dual function 12V socket to keep mobile phones charged on the move.
Anyone aged 16 and over can enjoy the new Speedfight 3 (having completed Compulsory Basic Training) – and drivers who obtained a full car licence before February 2001 are automatically entitled to ride one, without L-plates.
Both the Ice Blade and Dark Side versions of the Speedfight 3 are available at an RRP of £2199 but are on offer until the end of July for just £1999 at www.peugeotscooters.co.uk (or call 01202 823344).
