Special edition Peugeot Kisbee RS scooter – going green in black.
Peugeot's special edition version of its popular Kisbee scooter in matt black RS colour scheme combines mean and moody looks with emissions that are kind and caring for the environment.
Matt black body panels and cast black wheels with polished rims give the 50cc scooter a sporty appearance, and its twist-and-go automatic CVT transmission makes it surprisingly quick off the mark around town.
However the Kisbee’s advanced 4-stroke engine, with new piston design, lighter con-rod and 3-chamber exhaust, emits around 30% less Co2 than an equivalent size 2-stroke scooter, while delivering optimum fuel efficiency. Weighing in at 95kg, the compact Kisbee is easy to squeeze into the tightest parking space; perfect for busy city bike bays, and luggage space is provided by lockable storage under the seat.
Sales of scooters in the UK rose by 15.9% in the first six months of 2011 as British commuters seek more economical modes of transport in the face of escalating fuel, insurance and public transport costs. Peugeot has topped the sales charts for 50cc scooters this year and the sporty RS is expected to consolidate this position by appealing to younger more image conscious riders.
Priced at £1649 on the road, the Kisbee RS in currently available at the introductory price of just £1349. Covered by a 24-month warranty, details can be found at www.peugeotscooters.co.uk or call 01202 823344.
