Xtra protection from Xena

The new Disc Lock Cable Adaptor Kit from Xena is an ideal upgrade accessory for riders looking to extend the security level and reach of their Xena disc-lock alarm.

Designed to turn most of Xena's disc lock alarms into a more complete security system, the kit connects the alarmed disc-lock to a 1.5 metre high-tensile steel cable with a unique stainless-steel adaptor. When attached snugly to the disc lock, the adaptor allows the rider to connect the cable to a fixed object.

By linking the cable directly to one of Xena's alarmed disc-locks, the cable and adaptor kit can provide an alarmed ‘tripwire’ effect to help deter even the most determined of thieves.

To use, simply loop the cable round a Xena XGA Ground Anchor or other static object, fix to your Xena disc-lock alarm using the adaptor, and then fit the disc lock as normal. The cable is flexible enough to be passed through a wheel, a frame section, or around helmet or luggage, and is resistant to cutting and sawing attacks. It’s also plastic coated, to prevent damage to paint and metalwork.

Kits are available for a range of Xena disc locks, including the XX6, XX10, XX14 and XX15 as well as the budget XZZ6 model. When not in use it is compact, lightweight and flexible enough to be stashed under a motorcycle or scooter seat, or in luggage. It’s also cost effective, with prices starting at just £18 (for the cable – the disc lock is extra).
