Skidmarx accessories for Kawasaki Z1000SX.

Skidmarx now offer a range of screen upgrades for Kawasaki's new Z1000SX tourer, along with headlight covers and rear hugger too.  The British bodywork specialists have supplied screens for Kawasaki race machinery for many years, including MSS Colchester Kawasaki on track this season and for Michael Dunlop's bikes on the roads, and this  experience goes into the company's products for regular road riders too.

There are three screen upgrades for the Z1000SX, all produced from 3mm acrylic, and designed to replace the original factory-fitted item using the existing mounting points, so it may still be adjusted to suit the rider's needs.  The double bubble screen enhances the aerodynamics and increases the air pocket behind the screen, while the tall screen is 10cm/4” taller than the original and re-directs airflow over the rider – a popular upgrade for both touring and commuting.  Available, in clear, light or dark tints, the double bubble retails at £54.95 (including VAT) and the tall screen is priced at £42.95.  A range of coloured options can be ordered too, for a £6 surcharge. Replacement standard screens are also available and matching headlight covers cost £19.99.

Produced from GRP (fibreglass) in gelcoat black, the rear hugger provides more coverage than the original item and is supplied with tailored fittings and instructions priced at £74.95.  There is also an ultra light weight  carbon fibre rear hugger at £134.95 including VAT.
