Peugeot Scooters for 2012 in black and white.
Peugeot Scooters' new colour schemes for 2012 are all there in black and white. Firmly established as the UK's best-selling 50cc scooter, Peugeot's V-Clic will be available in cool white, while the iconic Speedfight sports scooter gets a matt black makeover.
Peugeot Scooters enjoyed substantial growth in the UK in 2011, as cash-strapped motorists and commuters opted for a more economical form of transport. While registrations of new scooters increased by 12%, sales of Peugeot scooters rose by 46%. Managing Director Richard Davies attributes this success to having the right products in the right places;
“Peugeot expanded its range of 50-125cc scooters in response to Europe-wide demand for affordable and economical transport. Combine that with a nationwide dealer network and the reassurance of the world-famous lion badge on the front and you have a winning formula.”
In addition to the new white colour for the V-Clic, currently on offer at £929, the top-of-the-range 125cc CityStar also comes in white for 2012. Priced at £3599 the CityStar is powered by a 14 horsepower liquid cooled 125cc motor that is capable of more than 80mpg. Weather protection is provided by the streamlined windshield and wrap-around bodywork makes for comfortable journeys even on longer commutes from out-of-town. For those who like their scooters on the sporty side, the Speedfight 3 Darkside, featuring a liquid cooled 50cc 2-stroke engine, gets a matt black paint job with contrasting orange graphics and matching wheel rims for 2012. Suggested retail price is £2199.
