Motorcycle control specialists Venhill have introduced the option of black fittings for their Powerhose Plus range of braided hoses - ideally suited to complement the understated paint schemes of bikes like the Kawasaki Z1000 Black, Harley-Davidson's Iron 883 and the Yamaha FZ8 in midnight black. The steel fittings are electro-plated for a high quality durable finish and are designed to swivel for hassle-freee fitting. Featuring a DuPont® Teflon® core and marine grade stainless steel braiding, Venhill braided lines are available in a wide range of colours too, including black, white and even orange. Powerhose Plus Key Features:

    * DuPont® Teflon® Core - unlike many aftermarket braided hoses, every Venhill Powerhose Plus features a DuPont® Teflon® core, which offers much higher resistance to heat than cheaper Nylon lined versions. The lining prevents softening, expansion and loss of shape, and has a consistent internal diameter and smooth bore, for efficient fluid flow.
    * Marine Grade Stainless Steel Braid - wrapped around the core, to prevent further pressure expansion and help protect against damage. Venhill use marine grade stainless, which is more resistant to corrosion than the ‘standard’ grade used on other brands.
    * Bonded PVC Jacketing - the braid is covered with a PVC jacket to help prevent wear and deterioration due to sunlight, chemicals and movement. It's bonded to the braid to prevent the ingress of water, road salt and debris.
    * Threaded Swivel Fittings - so the hose can be positioned with zero twist. Many other lines offer no banjo adjustment at all, or require removal and the use of a special tool to rotate the banjo. Venhill machine their own banjo fittings and dome-headed banjo bolts to ensure proper fitment and a consistent, quality finish.
    * Exceeds DOT and TUV Standards: for complete peace of mind, all Venhill braided brake hoses are built not only to meet but also to exceed DOT (USA) and TUV (Germany) requirements, and every hose that leaves the Venhill factory is pressure tested to 1500psi.
