Easy to use and fully automatic, simply attach to the bike’s battery, plug into the mains and let it do the rest. OptiMate2’s exclusive programme brings the battery to full charge, then switches to a unique maintenance mode: keeping the battery at 100%, whilst providing power to the on-board computer, display or anti-theft alarm.

Unique charging cycle - OptiMate 2 includes the unique ‘30min charge, 30min rest’ cycle which prevents overcharging and the subsequent damage to battery performance this can cause. Reverse polarity protection and ‘no spark connection’ are also incorporated for complete peace of mind.

Accepting any AC supply between 100-240V and weighing just 450grams, OptiMate 2 can be carried on trips and tours in the UK and abroad. The weatherproof casing also allows operation outside.

OptiMate 2 is recommended for maintenance of STD (with removable filler caps), sealed AGM (absorbed glass mat) and sealed GEL 12V lead-acid batteries up to 96Ah, and can also maintain larger batteries.
