Affordable motorcycle clothing from Milano Sport

Functional and fuss-free, the new Sabre Jacket and Aqua Gloves from Milano Sport are designed for the increasing number of budget-conscious riders who need durable and affordable clothing. Sales of economical smaller-capacity motorcycles and scooters rose dramatically during January-July this year, up 12.7% compared to the same period in 2011, so there is considerable demand for affordable riding gear.

The Milano Sport Sabre textile jacket (retailing for £99.99 including VAT) is designed to cope with the variety of conditions experienced by a year-round commuter. A waterproof drop liner and 100 gram thermal quilted inner are included for wintry rides, while on warmer days, the thermal liner can be removed and zipped vents at the chest and back opened to help keep the wearer cool. The outer shell is constructed using abrasion-resistant 600D polyester Maxtax reinforced with ballistic nylon in key areas. CE-approved armour is fitted to shoulders and elbows, while a pocket for a back protector - available separately – is also included. A zipped, waterproof chest pocket, neoprene collar trim and reflective panelling finish off the Sabre's impressive specifications. It comes in sizes S - 3XL in black/gun, black/red and black/blue.

Complementing the Sabre is the Milano Sport Aqua Glove. Selling at just £29.99, the Aqua features full-grain leather construction with – as the name suggests – a Hipora® waterproof, breathable and windproof inner liner, to keep the rain at bay. A 40 gram Thinsulate inner liner also features, as do a fully adjustable Velcro® closure, an integrated visor wipe and padded inserts to knuckles and fingers. The Aqua also comes in unisex sizes S-2XL, in black only.
