ART springs back
ART, the advanced riding course originally developed for the US Marine Corps, returns to the UK this spring. Two dates have already been confirmed, Monday March 11th and Thursday 18th April, both held at Silverstone's Copse Runway.
Based on a training programme devised by 'cornering guru' Keith Code, ART is designed to help overcome the common control errors that affect novice and experienced motorcyclists alike, and has proved particularly popular with riders who have recently passed their test or who have returned to biking after a break.
Delivered by qualified California Superbike School staff, ART takes half a day to complete, using a specially designed course laid out on a private training area, so students can focus on refining skills like throttle control and corner entry speed without the worry of other road traffic.
Open to anyone with a full motorcycle licence, ART courses cost £99 and students can either use their own machines or hire a Yamaha R6 or FZ8 for £99. For more information or to book visit www.art-skills.co.uk.
