GlobeBusters Open Day - Saturday 16th March
Join double Guinness World Record-breaking motorcycle adventurers Kevin and Julia Sanders on Saturday 16th March to celebrate the opening of the new GlobeBusters headquarters.
World leaders in transcontinental motorcycle expeditions, GlobeBusters relocated from South Wales to the town of Royston, on the Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshire border, at the beginning of the year. Just 40 miles north of London, GlobeBusters' new premises are easily accessible to customers from the UK and abroad and include the BMW Rider Training and Touring Centre too.
The event kicks off at 10am through to 4pm and free hot drinks and hog roast will be served during the day. Riders who pre-register with ian@bmwridertraining.com will get the chance to ride the new BMW R1200GS or the new F800GT for an hour, accompanied by a BMW Rider Training Instructor providing tips and advice. Metal Mule and Cotswold Outdoor will be exhibiting some of the products that they supply to GlobeBusters for their epic journeys and James Cargo Services, who specialise in shipping bikes to destinations around the world, will also be there.
The Open Day kicks off a busy year for Kevin Sanders, who will be heading East to ride from London's Ace Café to the Forbidden City in Beijing with a team of riders, from as far afield as Australia, Switzerland and Canada. Then he'll fly to Alaska to ride the length of the Americas for the ninth time, with another team of budding adventurers!
Find GlobeBusters at Highfields Business Park, Kneesworth, Royston SG8 5JT or visit www.globebusters.com for more information.
