ROCKY II THIS MAY
Following its successful return to Rockingham this April the California Superbike School will run two more days at the Northamptonshire circuit on 13th and 14th May.
Students will enjoy five track sessions on Rockingham's 1.7-mile long National Circuit, which combines long straights with fast left and right corners and a tight hairpin too - an ideal environment for learning the art of cornering. At 11 metres wide there is plenty of passing space and changes in elevation allow riders to work on their visual skills.
Founded by the legendary Keith Code in 1980, the California Superbike Schools are dedicated to discovering, improving and refining the art of cornering, which means they teach skills that can be applied on both road and track. Before each track session students receive a classroom briefing covering the drill to practice on track, where they will be observed by their own riding coach.
Typically a day at the California Superbike School lasts between 9-10 hours and prices start at £399. Details of the 2013 schedule and courses available can be found at www.superbikeschool.co.uk or telephone 08700 671 061 for a brochure.
