Skidmarx Screen and Belly Pan for Ducati Monster 1100EVO
Skidmarx - Britain's largest manufacturer of motorcycle bodywork – has added a screen kit and belly pan for Ducati's Monster 1100 EVO to its 2013 range.
Offering much-needed protection from wind and weather, the extended screen kit helps to make life on-board the big Duke much more pleasurable. The screen itself is manufactured from tough 3mm acrylic in Skidmarx' Weymouth factory and is supplied with a pre-coloured GRP cowling and tailored fittings. Using existing mounting points on the Monster's front headlight surround, the screen kit replaces the original cowling and screen for a neat and hassle-free fit, retailing for £79.95 including VAT.
The belly pan is also designed to offer protection, as well as looking good, this time for the EVO's Desmodromic motor. Manufactured from GRP glass fibre, it is tailored to fit and helps protect the EVO's L-Twin motor from road grime and damage from grit and gravel. It also uses existing mounting points and is supplied with a bike-specific fitting kit. The belly pan comes in a range of pre-coloured gel coats as well as a plain white option for owners to paint themselves, and is priced at £99.95 including VAT.
