Knox Techstyle Winter Glove with SPS
New for winter 2013, the Knox Techstyle winter glove combines great value with style and is packed with practical features.
Wet and icy conditions increase the risk of accident, so the Knox Scaphoid Protection System (SPS) is a reassuring feature. Vulnerable in even low speed spills, the scaphoid bone is easily fractured, and can result in the wrist being placed in plaster for up to 12 weeks and the sufferer being unable to work, let alone ride. By placing the Knox SPS on the palm the twin plastic 'sliders' eliminate the grab-effect that commonly causes scaphoid injuries. The Palm is made in tough and durable goat skin, complemented by water-resistant high tenacity nylon on the back of the hand. There is EVA foam padding on the knuckles and an elasticated thumb flex eases comfort on long rides. A Porelle waterproof and breathable lining keeps the hands dry, while Thinsulate provides light and flexible insulation.
A soft neoprene cuff also features, alongside a micro-adjustable wrist retaining strap, allowing the glove to be worn under the jacket sleeve for added protection against the elements.
Knox Techstyle gloves are available in black, sizes S-XXL, at an RRP of £69.99 including VAT. Call 01900 825825 or visit www.knox-armour.co.uk.
