New Streetzone from Peugeot Scooters
New from Peugeot Scooters, the Streetzone is styled for raw urban attitude and is based around the engine and chassis from their market-leading Speedfight.
Powered by a 50cc air-cooled 2-stroke motor, this compact scooter is not only light, at 87 kg, but also agile, thanks to its 1256 mm wheelbase and chunky street pattern tyres (120/90-10 front and 130/90-10 rear).
Styling is a mix of sport and street. An inverted 'snakebite' cartridge exhaust, upside-down front forks and Shuricane dual piston 190 mm front disc brake are specified for performance. Meanwhile custom style braced dragster handlebars, exposed LCD digital speedometer console, centre-mounted headlight enclosed in a matt black grille and sport rear view mirrors add an unmistakably urban look.
The Peugeot Streetzone is a Category AM vehicle, so it can be ridden on a full car driving licence issued before 1 February 2001. Otherwise, if you are 16 or over, you can apply for a provisional moped licence and then take compulsory basic training (CBT) to start riding a category AM scooter.
Available now in Icy White and Velvet Green, the Peugeot Streetzone sells for £1799- OTR. As a launch offer, a £200 discount voucher is available to download at www.peugeotscooters.co.uk, bringing the price down to £1599.
