British bodywork specialists Skidmarx now offer a choice of six accessories for Yamaha's popular MT-07; three fly screens, a headlight protector, sports belly pan and rear hugger.
|
MT-07 double bubble |
All of the fly screens are manufactured in the UK from tough 3mm acrylic sheet and attach to the four bolts that secure the cowl above the bike's headlight. The double bubble is based on the company's proven race screens, creating an air pocket to give the rider greater protection at high speed. It measures 39cm long with the added benefit of the extra 5cm height of the bubble. At 35cm, the shorter Sports screen is designed to offer additional wind protection for general road riding, while the taller Touring screen (at 43cm) re-directs the air flow higher over the bike and rider for long distance comfort. Fly screens come in a choice of clear, solid black and light or dark tints and are supplied complete with fittings, selling for £79.95 including VAT (£84.95 for double bubble).
|
MT-07 Sport screen and headlight protector |
Created to protect the headlight unit from stone chips, etc, the Headlight Protector is also made from
acrylic and is easily fitted using 3M™ Dual Lock™ fixing pads, which are supplied with it. Only clear headlight covers are legal to use on the road, but other tints/colours are available for display purposes or off road use only. All sell for £19.99 including VAT.
|
MT-07 Belly pan |
Designed to follow the contours of the 700cc twin cylinder engine, the sports belly pan also shields it and the down pipes from dirt and dust thrown up from the road. Produced from GRP, with a gel coat finish in black, red, blue or white, the belly pan sells for £79.95 and comes with a tailored fitting kit.
|
MT-07 Hugger |
Skidmarx rear huggers come in a choice of carbon fibre or GRP, with a black, red, blue or white gel coat finish. Both have an integral chain guard and bike-specific fittings. The GRP option sells for £79.95 and carbon fibre costs £139.95.
