Developed in Sdoc100’s German laboratory, Dry Lube’s innovative hybrid formula combines the advantages of traditional oil-based lubrication with the latest dry lube technology.
The average middleweight motorcycle transfers a similar amount of power to a small car through the drive chain, so keeping it properly lubricated is essential to prevent premature wear and and to ensure the machine is performing at its best. Poorly lubricated chains require more frequent adjustment and replacement, as well as sapping power from the engine.
Conventional oil-based chain sprays are messy to apply, frequently fling off onto the rear wheel/swinging arm and can trap dirt and grit from the road, creating a 'grinding paste' effect that accelerates wear on chain and sprockets too.
Dry Lubes are popular for use during the warmer drier months, because they are less messy to apply and won't pick up and hold damaging grit and dirt particles thrown up from the dry and dusty road surface.
