MudSling for BMW R1200RS LC

MachineArt's MudSling® helps protect the liquid-cooled BMW R1200RS and R1200R models’ suspension, underseat electronics modules and Paralever unit from water spray, mud, stones and other debris thrown up by the rear tyre. Although the R and RS come with a guard as standard, it's small surface area offers only minimal protection against mud, stones and water spray. Injection moulded in tough polypropylene, to match the 1200's other plastic part surfaces, the MudSling® measures 215mm wide and 406mm long, and provides 877 sq cm of coverage for the Beemers' rear end, significantly more than the standard guard. The design also helps prevent crud being thrown onto the rider's legs, and keeps the under seat area cleaner. Quick and easy to fit, the MudSling® is precision cut to fit the existing guard and frame perfectly, and requires no drilling. It can also be fitted to bikes with lowered suspension.
