Biking is brilliant in Brazil with GlobeBusters
GlobeBusters have added a brand new Brazilian tour to their 2016 schedule, offering adventure-seeking riders with limited free time an opportunity to explore South America’s most vibrant country. Following in the tracks of David Beckham, who rode a Triumph Bonneville through Brazil for the BBC documentary 'Into the Unknown', this 17-day, 2000-mile trip gives motorcyclists a chance to experience Brazil's rain forests and wild, rhythm-filled cities; enchanting colonial towns; dramatic red-rock canyons; thundering waterfalls and tropical beaches. Highlights include the pristine white sand beaches and crystal clear waters of Florianopolis Island; the twisting mountain roads of Santa Catarina; the Foz do IguaƧu waterfall, which straddles the border with Argentina; and the breathtaking lakes, stalactite formations, waterfalls and rivers of the Bonito Caves. Teaming up with Triumph Brazil, the trip is unique to GlobeBusters – no other British motorcycle tour operator offers anything like it. Riders have the option of hiring either a Triumph Tiger 800XC or Explorer 1200, complete with luggage. The route is 90% paved roads, so only a small amount of off-road experience is needed. A GlobeBusters tour leader and a mechanic, with support vehicle, will accompany the group. Running from 19th August to 5th September 2016, prices start from £5,595* and include bike hire, 4-star hotel bed and breakfast accommodation; entrance to the main attractions en-route; airport transfers at start/end of tour; departure handbook, with maps, daily route notes and GPS. Plus access to the GlobeBusters Team pre-departure for individual advice on preparing for the trip.
