Infinity Motorcycles identified in London Stock Exchange’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’
Infinity Motorcycles has has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses.
To be selected for the list, the motorcycle clothing and accessories retailer had to demonstrate consistent growth in revenue over a minimum of three years, and significantly out-perform its industry peers. Infinity sits alongside businesses from 40 sectors – from architecture, manufacturing and engineering to food and drink – from every region of the UK. More detail on the methodology can be found in the report online at www.1000companies.com.
Reacting to the news Rob Puttick, Infinity Motorcycles Director, said:
“We're chuffed to bits. When we opened our first shop in 1999, in a disused bank in West London, we never imagined in our wildest dreams that 17 years later Infinity Motorcycles would be recognised by the London Stock Exchange as one of the country's most dynamic businesses! It's also nice to be representing the motorcycle industry in the report – we often feel that our sector is over-looked by the mainstream media.”
Xavier Rolet, Chief Executive, London Stock Exchange Group said:
“High growth SMEs are the driving force behind the UK economy, developing the skills, jobs and growth we need. Today’s celebration is fundamental to London Stock Exchange’s core, the need to support UK high growth companies in their journeys from Start-up to Stardom and create an entrepreneurship revolution.”
As well as identifying 1,000 companies, the annual report examines the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and looks at the sectors and trends likely to shape the future of the UK economy.
Founded in 1999, Infinity has 12 motorcycle clothing and accessory showrooms across the UK and operates a Yamaha premier dealership in South London. For more information visit www.infinitymotorcycles.com or call 01252 400 400.
