Ventura's New Adjustable Pack-Rack

Ventura's new Adjustable Pack-Rack is the most significant evolution of the popular motorcycle luggage system since its launch 30 years ago.

The updated system still attaches to the bike using L-Brackets that are tailor-made for the make and model. However, the Adjustable Rack replaces the range of Pack Racks required to fit the different width and height of various motorcycle tail units.

The new Rack works using an elbow system, which slots into the L-Brackets and bolts to the rack. The elbows pivot, allowing the Rack to mount forward or back to suit the rider, bike and pack – so it can be carried closer to the machine's centre of gravity when riding solo, or positioned to give a pillion ample room when two-up.

The range of adjustment provided by the elbow system also means the rack can be fitted to a different motorcycle, no matter what size the tail unit. Simply adjust the elbow bracket to suit the new machine's L-Brackets, attach and position the Rack-Pack as needed, then enjoy the unique ‘slide on, ride off’ fitment of the Ventura Packs.

Ventura’s Bike Pack system combines the best features of soft and hard luggage: a sturdy rack-mounting system designed to hold the load safely and securely, and a range of soft and semi-soft bags – from a 35 litre weekend bag, to a massive 102-litre touring combination – that are lightweight, easy to handle off the bike and can be easily rolled up and stashed away when not in use.

It attaches using existing points on the sub-frame and doesn’t add significant weight or width. The Pack’s unique ‘slide on, ride off’ fitment eliminates the need for straps or bungee cords, so it's quick and easy to detach and reattach too.

Both Pack and Rack can be removed in seconds, leaving only the discrete L-Brackets behind. The rider then has the option of fitting a pillion Grab Handle or a Sport Rack, designed for transporting small loads.

The new Adjustable Pack Rack retails at £59.00 and is compatible with any machine fitted with L-Brackets.
