Tweet yourself to more power
Peugeot's popular big-wheeler, the Tweet Evo, is now available with a larger 150cc engine, adding a useful boost to power and torque.
Pushing out 16% more power than its 125cc sibling, yet weighing exactly the same, (at just 109 kg), the new larger capacity Tweet can tackle longer and faster routes, and makes riding two-up or with luggage easier. Combined with the 'twist and go' CVT automatic transmission, it makes dealing with stop/start commuter and town traffic much less of a strain too.
Running on larger wheels than most scooters – they're a full 16-inch diameter – and with 3 0mm telescopic front forks and an adjustable rear shock absorber, the Tweet gives a stable and sure-footed ride on most road surfaces.
Light and precise steering, a wheelbase of 1330 mm and low weight, also help make the Tweet agile. Combined with a slim and compact body (only 690 mm at its widest point), it's easy to hustle through traffic and can squeeze into tight parking spaces too.
It also boasts 226 mm disc brakes front and rear, for reassuring stopping power.
A slim and low seat - at 800 mm - makes it easy for riders of all sizes to get a foot firmly on the ground and the Tweet is perfect for two, with ample space on the dual seat, fold-out foot pegs and chunky grab rails. An under-seat storage bay and handy luggage rack help with all those daily essentials too.
Available in classic Black, White and Satin Iron Grey colours from authorised Peugeot Scooter dealers, the Tweet Evo 150 is priced at £1899, including a two-year unlimited-mileage warranty.
