Yamaha MT Tour joins MCN Festival line-up
Yamaha’s MT Tour is confirmed for the MCN Festival of Motorcycling, further expanding the diverse choice of bikes available to test at the Peterborough Arena over the weekend of 14th-15th May.
Yamaha will bring the entire MT Tour fleet, including the three cylinder MT-09 & MT-09 Tracer and the MT-07 and MT-03 twins, all of which will be available to test, alongside many of the the latest models from Triumph, Suzuki, KTM and Indian/Victory.
As a special treat, Yamaha plan to fly in four brand new MT-10 machines, direct from the world press launch in Spain. Driven by a 998cc crossplane engine, the MT-10 is by far the most powerful MT ever created; with an ultra-short wheelbase aluminium Deltabox chassis, a natural riding position, traction control and slipper clutch, it also offers class-leading agility and total control.
There’s plenty to see and do between test rides; star guest Colin Edwards leads Team USA in the second annual MCN Transatlantic short-track trophy. Trials legend Steve Colley will be performing top tricks in his legendary stunt show and there will be classic race bike parades too.
A huge variety of bikes, old & new, will be on show in the expanded Club Zone, and there will be bargains galore on the huge retail zone and new automjumble area. Plus dirt track racing and sprint demonstrations.
Test rides are included in the ticket price – buy an advance ticket now and be among the first to know when bookings open. At the lower price of just £15, advance ticket prices are £4 cheaper than last year and children under 15 go free when accompanied by a paying adult. Advance ticket holders get first dibs on test bikes from all the manufacturer test fleets. Weekend camping packages are available from just £30.
