Street art adds colour to Infinity
A street artist famous for turning London's dull and boring building hoardings into colourful and creative spaces has transformed a corner of Infinity Motorcycles' Camberley warehouse.
Street artist Nathan Bowen was spotted by Infinity's online manager Alan Arnold on an episode of the BBC television show The Apprentice, in which contestants had to sell his work in a London art gallery.
Alan thought his unique and vibrant style would be the perfect antidote to a rather uninspiring corner of the his team's office:
“The office wall in the new mezzanine section was just breeze blocks: difficult to paint and incredibly dull. I was looking for something motivational and different, and Nathan's work seemed like the perfect fit.”
Nathan was given a minimal brief, stating a few key motorcycle brands to include, and that his work would feature in the newly expanded web-based operation, and was left to create. The work took around 10 hours to complete. Alan and his team are delighted with the result;
“He has given us something that you can’t buy in a shop and is unique to Infinity. The web team were so excited to watch him work and are so pleased with the results. It gives us an amazing working environment and is a talking point for staff, suppliers and other visitors to our online operation.”
Nathan has collaborated with various major brands and venues, including Schwarzkopf and Borough Market. In 2012 his Demon Soldiers featured in an advert alongside fashion model Pixie Geldof for the 'Fashion Targets Breast Cancer' campaign. See more of his work at www.nathanbowenart.com.
Infinity's motorcycle clothing clearance warehouse in Camberley, Surrey, has over 10,000 lines to choose from, and is open seven days a week. The newly-built mezzanine provides extra floor space and stocking ability, as well as office space for the dedicated online team.
