Three screenings for Honda CBR650F
British bodywork specialists, Skidmarx, are now offering a choice of three screen upgrades for Honda's popular CBR650F sports-tourer.
The standard screen is a direct replacement for the original item and is designed to be rigid at speed. Manufactured in the UK from 3 mm cast acrylic, it fits onto the CBR's four existing mounting points – no drilling or cutting of bodywork, and no fiddly additional brackets or fixings needed – and comes in either a clear finish or a choice of tints. It retails for £49.95 including VAT.
For riders requiring more protection from wind and rain, the Tall version has an overall height of 45cm - 11cm taller than standard screen. It's also made from acrylic, comes in a choice of clear, light or dark tints, and retails at £49.95 including VAT. Like the standard version, it also uses the existing mounting points, and is designed to give plenty of clearance for mirror adjustment.
The Double Bubble screen enhances the CBR650's aerodynamics and increases the air pocket behind the screen, giving the rider greater protection from buffeting at high speed – Skidmarx develop theirs with help from short circuit and road racers. It's also available in clear and a choice of light or dark tints, and retails at £59.95 including VAT.
The screens fit all 2014-on Honda CBR650F models. A range of coloured options are available for all three, for a £6 surcharge.
