New Management Team at Skidmarx
Skidmarx, one of the UK's biggest and longest-established suppliers of motorcycle screens and bodywork, is under new management.
Alan Roberts, who founded the business in 1990, has handed over the reins after 26 years in the driving seat, opening a new chapter in the company's history.
The new directors, Ian 'Merv' Merrill (pictured left) and Matthew 'Fooie' Dench (right), share more than 20 years experience at Skidmarx, giving them both a detailed knowledge of the manufacturing processes and customer base.
“After 26 years I reckon I've earned a break” smiles Alan. “I'm delighted to be handing over the business to Ian & Matthew, who have the expertise and energy to take Skidmarx forward in a rapidly changing market”.
”We're very excited to have an opportunity to take Skidmarx to the next level” says Mat. “Product development is our top priority and we aim to have screens or huggers available for all the key new models in 2017. We're also upping our game on social media, as part of our strategy to make Skidmarx more approachable. Whether you're a trade customer or a member of the public, talking direct to the manufacturer helps you to decide which product is right for you and to answer any questions about fitting that often crop up.”
