Paris - Casablanca Scooter Ride Reaches Half-Way
After leaving Paris on the 11th of May 2017, Clémence and Lisa have already ridden almost 1,700 km on their 125cc DJANGO scooters and will shortly travel across the Strait of Gibraltar, aiming to arrive in Casablanca before the end of June.
Friends and travel addicts, Clémence Couten et Lisa Aleksenko, are riding from Paris to Casablanca (a journey of 3000 km) on 125cc neo-retro Peugeot Django scooters. Their 50-day itinerary is designed to allow the two women time to encounter changing cultures and to discover the most beautiful urban and rural roads in Europe, and the world beyond.
From Paris the pair rode down through Poitou-Charentes and on to Bordeaux, where they met Samuel, who rode a Django from Paris to Saigon last year. From there they crossed the Pyrénées Mountains into Spain and across the interior to Madrid. Heading for the southern coast, they discovered the cities of Manzanares, La Carolina, Jaen, Grenade and Motril.
Once across the Mediterranean, Clémence and Lisa will experience the roads of Morocco for the first time in the beautiful city of Tangiers, before continuing their trip to Rabat, El Jadida, Essaouira, Marrakech and Casablanca,
