Ventura put A2 bikes on the rack
Ventura has added three of the latest A2-class bikes to its new generation EVO-Rack fitment list: BMW's G 310R, the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 and KTM 390 Duke.
Ventura's all new EVO-Rack System is ideal for more compact machines, because it’s light, adds no extra width – great for darting through traffic on the daily commute – and offers a choice of Pack sizes too.
The new EVO-Rack features a flat base and an adjustable mounting system, which allows the load to be carried closer to the machine's centre of gravity when riding solo, or positioned to give a pillion ample room.
The range of adjustment also means the rack can be fitted to any other machine fitted with L-Brackets, by adjusting the fittings to suit, so no need to purchase an additional Rack.
Two new packs, the EVO-40 and EVO-10, fit onto the rack using an innovative pocket fastening system in the base, that holds the packs securely on the rack while riding. The ‘slide on, ride off’ fitment means it's quick and easy to attach or remove the packs – no fiddling with straps and bungee cords or locks and keys.
The EVO-40 is the larger of the two, offering 40-litres of carrying capacity – great for weekends away. The smaller, 10-litre EVO-10 is ideal for commuting and day riding. Both packs are made from water-resistant and durable laminated ballistic fabric.
The L-Brackets attach using existing points on the rear sub-frame and the EVO-Rack can be removed in seconds, leaving only the discrete L-Brackets behind. The rider then has the option of fitting a pillion Grab Handle.
The EVO-Rack retails at £79.99; the EVO-40 Pack £149.99 and the EVO-10 Pack £73.99. Prices for L-Brackets are £107.99 for the BMW G310R, Kawasaki Versys-X 300 and KTM 390 Duke. For further details, prices and a full list of pack options, call 01256 704909 or visit www.ventura-bike.co.uk
