LS2 Vector helmet - light and lighter
LS2’s Vector helmet is available with a lightweight HPFC shell or an even lighter wide weave carbon fibre option.
The Vector HPFC is made from the company’s own High Performance Fiberglass Composite, which delivers high penetration resistance, with flexibility for energy dispersion, and low weight - just 1390 grams.
Fitted with LS2’s quick-release, 3D Optically Correct visor, the rider gets a clear view of the road ahead. It’s also features the Pinlock Max Vision Anti Fog System.
Behind that is a flip-down sun visor - easily operated with a gloved hand - so low sun and glare from wet roads can be dealt with in seconds.
Comfort is taken care of by the Magna-Tech Liner, which is removable and washable, and an emergency release system allows first responders to remove the cheek pads, so the helmet can be removed with minimal movement of a fallen rider's head and neck.
When the going gets hot Dynamic Flow-through Ventilation - with adjustable intake ports, internal channels and exhaust ports - helps keep the wearer cool.
The LS2 Vector HPFC comes in sizes XXS - 3XL and retails at £159 in plain colours and £169 for graphics.
For riders looking to cut even more weight, a Wide-Weave Carbon Fibre version - which comes in at 1300 grams - retails at £269 in ‘plain’ carbon-fibre finish and £289 in hi-vis yellow.
