New sidecar is the white stuff

Watsonian's trials-inspired International sidecar is now available in a white polished gelcoat finish. 

Based on the British company's aluminium bodied trials sidecar, which was succesful in off-road sport during the 1950s, the updated version of the International has a glass fibre body, with brushed aluminium wrap on the sides, to recreate the metallic appearance of the original. It comes fitted with a grab rail and tubular back rest, both of which are styled for an authentic period look.

The mudguard is also glass fibre, for durability and ease of maintenance, and comes fitted with road legal running light, indicator and tail light.

Beneath the bench seat is a generous-size locker, measuring 450mm x 500mm x 310mm, providing plenty of luggage space.

The International is mounted on Watsonian's proven platform chassis, which is made from tubular steel, with welded joints, and powder-coated for durability. Hydraulic suspension is fitted to give a smooth and stable ride and a 16” wheel with stainless steel spokes and chromed steel rim completes the period appearance.

Watsonian offer a wide range of fitting kits and a full factory-fitting service is available at Watsonian's Cotswold factory. Fitting kit prices vary depending on how many parts are required for the kit - some bikes need a complex subframe assembly. It is shown attached to the Royal Enfield Himalayan, for which the fitting kit costs £475.
