LS2 Thunder’s Striking New Colours

LS2 Helmet’s range-topping full carbon Thunder gets two new colours for 2022: a fresh, ice cool Blue/White option for the ‘Racing 1’ scheme and the all-new ‘Supra’, which features contrasting Red, Blue and White graphics.

Based on the FIM-approved helmet used by LS2 athletes in MotoGP, World SBK and BSB, the Thunder is LS2’s most technically advanced helmet yet. 

Its 100% carbon fibre twill weave shell provides high penetration resistance and energy dispersion and is ultralight - just 1400 grams. 

For maximum all-round vision, the visor sits in a wide aperture and features an ingenious quick-release system derived from LS2’s race helmets. It's ready to accept tear-offs and comes with a Pinlock Anti-Fog System as standard. 


Ventilation ports at the chin, forehead and crown, with internal channelling through the EPS liner to large exhaust ports at the rear, offer superior air cooling. The hypoallergenic comfort liner is breathable, removable and washable too. Combined with Laser-Cut Foam inserts and the natural long-oval shape of the shell, it gives a snug and reassuring fit and feel.

An Emergency Release System allows first responders to remove the cheek pads after a fall, without disturbing the head and neck.

Each helmet is supplied as standard with a high quality carry bag, Pinlock insert, replacement dark tint visor, a pack of tear-offs, reflective stickers and an inflatable support to hold the helmet safely during cleaning and maintenance.
