2024 Best Pre-1950: 1932 Ariel Red Hunter |
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Honda's flagship tourer, and the Amos Hall Foyer will showcase the much celebrated machine’s remarkable evolution. Visitors can look forward to seeing a stunning array of models, from the original naked GL1000 of the 1970s to the latest sophisticated 1800cc iterations, tracing the technological and design journey of this revolutionary motorcycle.
The Amos will also host the usual an impressive lineup of club stands and private entries. Last year's competition demonstrated the show's diversity, with winners ranging from a 1932 499cc Ariel Red Hunter to a 1974 Honda CB350K4.
The Car Auction Hall will once again be filled with motorcycle traders and jumble stalls, with additional vendors spread across the hardstanding outside. For those looking to clear out their garage, private stalls are available for just £15, which includes admission for two people.
The popular (and free) BikeMart display-to-sell area also returns, for people wishing to buy and sell complete machines. Bikes can be dropped off or ridden into the event at no extra charge; an entry ticket is all that’s needed.
The Ashford Classic Motorcycle Show and Bike Jumble will take place at the Ashford Livestock Market, Orbital Park, Ashford, Kent, TN24 0HB - easily accessible from the M20 at junction 10 or 10a.
Gates open to the public from 10am on Easter Monday, 21st April 2025, and tickets are - for the fifth year running - still just £6 for adults. Accompanied children under 16 get in for free. Earlybird tickets are valid from 8am and cost £10.
Parking is free and well-behaved dogs are welcome. An onsite café will provide refreshments and seating for visitors to rest and recharge.
