2-Strokes at Ardingly Show

The Ardingly Classic Bike Show & Jumble is back at the South of England Showground on Sunday 29th March 2026. Even if the sun doesn’t shine, visitors can expect a hazy day as this year's show theme is two-strokes.

From the simplest lightweight commuters, through to highly tuned, high-revving multi-cylinder Grand Prix winners, the two-stroke engine has been at the heart of motorcycling for over a century. Compact, mechanically simple and often gloriously noisy, two-strokes in all forms have  earned a loyal following that remains as passionate today as it ever was.

Visitors can expect a strong two-stroke presence across the show, with a wide variety of machines on display and plenty of expert knowledge on hand. A number of specialist clubs will be in attendance, including the Francis-Barnett Owners Club and the British Two Stroke Club, alongside private owners and enthusiasts celebrating all eras and capacities of two-stroke motorcycles.

Ardingly is well established as a dependable early-season meeting point, attracting riders, restorers and collectors keen to dust off winter projects and get the year underway.

As ever, the heart of the event will be the indoor show halls, packed with classic motorcycles, club displays and privately owned machines, alongside a comprehensive all-motorcycle autojumble. With almost two acres of undercover space available, visitors can browse bikes, spares and projects in comfort, whatever the weather brings.

Trade and autojumble stands will offer new and used spares, tools, accessories, clothing and workshop essentials, making Ardingly a popular hunting ground for both restorers and riders looking for hard-to-find parts.

For those looking to clear space at home, 'Workshop Clear-Out' stalls are available to pre-book. The Free BikeMart display-to-sell area also returns, for those wishing to buy and sell complete machines.

Camping tickets are now available for those wanting to make a weekend of it. A camping pitch allows access to the showground from 5pm on Saturday and includes Earlybird admission on Sunday.

The South of England Showground is located at Ardingly, near Gatwick, RH17 6TL, just eight miles from M23 junction 10. Parking is free, and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

General entry tickets are valid from 10am, with last admission at 1:30pm and the event closing at 3:30pm, subject to weather. Adult tickets cost £7, with accompanied children under 16 admitted free. Earlybird tickets, valid from 8am, are priced at £10. Visitors are advised that some traders may still be setting up during Earlybird entry.

Camping tickets are priced at £20 for one person or £30 for two people, plus booking fee. Children aged 15 and under camp free. Camping bookings close at midnight on Friday 27th March 2026, and include admission to the event.

Tickets are available on the morning of the show or in advance from www.elk-promotions.co.uk, where you can also enter your bike.
