Romney Marsh Ride-In Returns in June

The Romney Marsh Ride-In Show and Bike Jumble returns to Hamstreet in Kent on Sunday 28th June 2026: one of the South East’s most relaxed and enjoyable days out for anyone with a passion for classic and post-classic motorcycles.

Open to all riders, the show is as straightforward as it gets: ride in, pay the regular gate price, park in the designated Ride-In Show area and you’re entered. Cash prizes of £25 are up for grabs for the Best Classic (pre-1980) and Best Post-Classic machine, with prize-giving at 1pm. The emphasis, as always, is on bikes that get ridden and enjoyed, not kept under dust sheets.

Expect a wide variety of club stands, live music from firm favourites The Rockitmen and refreshments available at The Dawdling Duck bar. St John Ambulance are always in attendance at Elk events, ready to provide medical assistance on site.

The autojumble is a highlight in its own right and always brings a broad mix of traders and private sellers offering parts, tools, manuals, accessories and memorabilia. Whether you’re tracking down a specific part for a long-running restoration or just happy to browse, there’s usually something worth stopping for.

For those with a garage full of surplus spares, a Workshop Clear-Out pitch costs just £15 and covers entry for two people. And for anyone looking to move on a complete machine, the BikeMart display-to-sell area is free to use: ride it in or drop it off, with only an entry ticket required.

The show takes place at Hamstreet, Kent TN26 2JD, on Sunday 28th June 2026, with easy access from the M20 at Ashford. Admission prices are unchanged from last year: 10am Adult entry is £5, Seniors £4 (65 and over) and accompanied children under 16 are free. Earlybird entry from 8am is £10. Parking is free and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Gates open at 10am; last admission is 1:30pm and the event closes at 3:30pm, weather permitting. Tickets are available on the gate on the morning by cash or card, and online at www.elk-promotions.co.uk
