Shock Shield for BMW R 1300 R/RS

Pyramid has introduced a Shock Shield for the BMW R1300 R and RS, giving the exposed rear suspension components the protection they deserve. 

The 190-section rear tyre on both bikes is highly effective at flinging road spray, grit, and debris at the shock absorber and linkage, which can result in damage - for RS riders running the sport suspension setup, that could be particularly costly. 

Offering added protection whilst remaining inconspicuous, the Shock Shield is manufactured from highly durable rubber — tough enough to handle a battering from even heavy road debris — and paired with a precision-moulded ABS mounting panel for a secure, integrated fit. It does the job without drawing attention to itself, blending neatly into the bike’s profile.

Fitting is straightforward — no modification to the bike is necessary. The Shock Shield arrives safely packaged together with comprehensive instructions and the fittings required, so installation can be completed at home with a few basic hand tools.
