Weise Portland Gloves: Tradition meets Tech

Designed for riders who want classic looks without compromising on safety, the new Weise Portland is a short-cuff goat leather glove with a vintage feel, and thoroughly modern protection. 

Looking every inch a genuine original, the Portland features black goat leather, with a classic cream wrist panel and rich red highlights. A YKK vintage-style zipper and a discreet Weise embossed logo complete the look.

Behind the heritage styling, sit the latest safety standards. The Portland glove is certified to EN 13594:2015 Level 1 KP. TPU knuckle armour, hidden beneath a leather overlay, preserves the glove’s clean lines while delivering modern impact protection, and padded scaphoid and finger panels add reinforcement in critical zones.

Fit and feel have been carefully considered too. Accordion stretch panels add flexibility and dexterity, and a Chamude palm overlay with silicon print delivers a reassuring grip on the bars in all conditions. 

A zipped cuff with adjustable strap closure secures the glove neatly under a jacket sleeve, and both the index finger and thumb are touchscreen compatible, allowing quick access to a phone or sat-nav without having to remove the gloves.
